Shipping and Returns


All shipments will be sent FOB Edmonton unless other arrangements have been made.
Sorry no C.O.D (collect on delivery) shipments.

Shipping Options:

For online orders a 5% shipping credit based on subtotal (up to the cost of shipping) is applied to your order automatically at checkout. The prices quoted by Canada Post in the checkout have the credit applied already. The prices are based on your location, weight, and size of what you are ordering.

If you wish to have your order processed faster than our standard turnaround times, please choose a faster shipping option (Xpresspost or Priority). Canada Post Regular and Expedited Parcel are the standard choices.

Oversize items must be offline shipping. Oversized items are classified as any product that is or is larger than 36" in any direction and overweight items are 50lbs and up.

Offline shipping:

Once we receive your online order with offline shipping chosen, we will get shipping quotes from our alternative shippers like Purolator, UPS, Fedex, Canpar…etc, then will contact you with some options for times and prices (with the 5% shipping credit taken away from the cost). Offline can take a bit longer to process since we must weigh and measure everything together to create a quote.


The chosen delivery company sends out a tracking number email when they have picked up the package from the store.

Estimated Shipping Times:

All orders have a 2 - 5 business days** processing time for Canada. This is the amount of time it takes to receive, pick, process, and package the online orders. Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Processing time does not include shipping time.

Average Shipping Time: based on expedited parcel postal service.

**Please note during sale or busy seasonal times we may experience a delay in processing and shipping times.

Special Items:

  • Aerosol cans must be shipped ground (meaning no Xpress or Priority).
  • Large paper sheets (22" x 30"+) are shipped flat (never rolled) unless approved by customer.
  • Extra large paper sheets (40" x 60"+) are shipped flat with reinforced packaging and masonite boards (extra charge).


We accept Visa, Mastercard or Pre-approved Account.


Returns will only be accepted with prior approval from Delta Art and Drafting Supply.

Returns will not be accepted without a receipt.

All returns require prior approval by management. Please contact our the store for details. Delta Art and Drafting Supply will replace or credit merchandise that is defective, or sent in error. Returns for reasons other than the above are at the discretion of Delta Art and Drafting Supply and will be subject to a minimum of 20% handling and restocking charge. On these returns, customer is responsible for all freight charges and insurance. Delta Art and Drafting Supply will not accept merchandise shipped C.O.D.
We cannot take responsibility for items or merchandise damaged by carrier. If damaged in transit you should contact carrier immediately.
